I had a great opportunity this weekend to hunt a private property that was the site of a relatively small skirmish near the end of the Civil War. Among the typical trash and smaller finds was this very nice snake head belt buckle that was used on sword belts. It is not complete, needs the iron loops on both ends to be complete, but a sweet find nonetheless.
