T2 Ltd BP / CL question

New member
With the T2 Ltd using it on the wet salty beach at low tide (we have a 10ft or 3 metre difference between low and high tide) in all metal mode i so far found a bottle top at 15 inches with out a hassle, a sinker at 12 inches once again with ease.
Am wondering if i use cl mode will i loose the chance to find a coin that is about the size of a ring? or for that matter loose the chance to find a ring? So what is better to use CL or BP?
I should add i using a 15 inch coil on the machine, ground balance at 0 and sensitivity 50 to 60, runs real smooth right up the waters edge.

Your GB of 0 seems low, is that an auto GB? I can`t help much, because I detect in fresh water. I detect in Discrimination Mode, auto GB about 70-90, discrimination 35, sensitivity 80, 3b tone. I also have a 15" coil, but in trashy areas like beaches I don`t use it, the stock works better under trashy conditions. I have found clad, and some small gold and silver rings, some deep. Try different settings, and see what works best for you. The biggest thing is learn your detector and what it is telling you. I would only use BP or CL in trash free areas where I expected deep targets or tall grass where I could not get the coil as close to the ground as I would like. Good luck.
