T2 pricing ( I thought it was supposed to be a mid priced unit?)

From what I understand the T2 was supposed to be a mid-priced unit in line with the MXT? The MXT has a list of $799.95 so I guess the T2 is in the upper end of the price range? Just my 2 cents worth. I hope it is a great machine. I am happy they have a forum for this detector and look forward to posting some myself in the future.
