T2 problems.

JBM

New member
My friend was out with the T2 today and the ground balance was sticking on 90 sometimes we could get it to function by switching of and starting it up again.

Having said that it was doing the same thing again when we got home.

The volume was ok using the headset but pull the jack plug out and there is no sound whatsoever.

OK we can send it back to the service agent but just wondered if any of you had suffered a similiar problem.

Thanks,

Jerry.

Jerry,

I'm not sure about the first problem.

As for the second issue with no sound when you remove the headphone plug, this is most like jack. Normally when you remove the headphones, a contact is made in the jack to complete the circuit to the speaker.

Could also be a bad speaker or a loose wire in the speaker circuit.

Hi Jerry...sorry to see that you're having problems.

First...I agree with Jeff's comments re.jack-plug etc.

Secondly, regarding 'sticking 90'.

Can you manually adjust the ground setting, via ALL METAL menu?

If the answer is yes then the problem probably lies in the electronics or the software controlling the 'fast grab' function.

That would require a return for servicing..............MattR.UK.

p.s....Has the unit been allowed to be affected by damp conditions?

Put it somewhere warm for a couple of days, and check again.
