well im about to buy a t2 i think. i allways see the t2 described as a relic hunter, does that mean it does not do as well on old deep silver/coins? does it id deep coins accuratly or will the numbers jump around? i was looking at the t2 or f-75 but cant afford the f-75 right now and the t2 seems to be very close to the f-75 in general. i am mainly an old coin hunter, any advice would be appreciated.

The T2 is great on both Coins & Relics. The T2 or F-75 would work great for you.

T2 is a super coin shooter and outstanding finding coins in trashy areas. Three weeks ago my friend found a shield nickel around nine inches deep. Two weeks ago I was searching an old abandoned hospital. I found over 30 coins in 4 hours, all located between 3-7 inches. You will be very satisfied with the T2.

thanks for your replies. from all that I've been reading it seems the f-75 has advantage in depth on a us dime and is much more sensitive to gold.

Seeker. You have stated your reason for thinking of buying the T2 is affordability. Let me offer my assurance, you will not be wasting your money, or be found wanting in the choice afforded.

Stop prevaricating and BUY one.

WHAT OTHER PEOPLE HAVE TO SAY IS OFFERED FOR PUBLIC CONSUMPTION, BUT DON'T SWALLOW IT ALL, OR YOU MAY END UP MENTALLY CONSTIPATED........

YOU ARE AN INDIVIDUAL, AND IT IS MAINLY UP TO YOU JUST HOW GOOD ANY DETECTOR WILL BE IN YOUR HANDS.

The daftest question you can ask is,

"Is it a coin or relic detector".

All old coins are relics !!!!

All old iron artifacts are relics....

A relic is something, anything, that has survived from the past.

If it's made of metal, (cash or Colt) then the Teknetics T2 is one of the finest relic detectors for finding such. (Dollar for Dollar)

Please don't be offended by my blunt reply, but the sooner you sort your way through the masses of well intended advice, the sooner you will be giving your own account of the T2, and hopefully proving what a good choice YOU made. All the best.....MattR.UK.

Prevarication is the thief of time.........

I think you meant "procrastination", but that might be true, also.

T2 is a dandy, and I would certainly not try to talk you away from one, but you might want to consider the Coin$trike that is deeply discounted by Fisher to close the line down. Still has a lifetime guarantee and is a tremendously good deal at the $550 price. (They were $879.95 up until last month!)

Pardon my boorishness for posting this on the T2 forum, but it is a heck of a opportunity.

Hi Charlie.....with respect,I meant what I posted....

My choice of words was to create an adaptation of the well known proverb by replacing 'Procrastination' with 'Prevarication'.
