T2 s First Gold Ring

So much rain after the snow in the south east of England that I have been getting withdrawal symptoms looking at my LTD in the corner, but a dry morning before the rain came back with a vengence at lunchtime saw me back out in the Church field that I class as barren, but since silverman told me that there was no such thing as a barren field in the UK, I have been back several times finding coins. The last being a cartwheel penny of George 111 Dated 1797 {In fact all cartwheels are dated 1797 as they were made in Birmingham by Matthew Boulton on a steam press up to 1820 and the dye was never changed} Anyway, enough of the history lesson. First signal I received was showing 53 on meter and on digging found a 194? shilling of George V1. Next signal, not far from fenceline, was a nice 62 and from a depth of 8 Inches up came a womans Gold Ring that was engraved. I was well pleased with this.
I'm sorry I cant send photos as my Sony digital does not go to the format size required for the website but I will be buying new camera soon so will update with picture.
Also just to add, I found a few weeks back a solid silver badge that had Stanmore horse riding club written on it, this gave a reading of 89 to 92. I love my T2, it is so incredibly sharp and if I carry on at this rate it will pay for itself very soon.
Settings I mostly use: Sensitivity 85 : Discriminate 4 : Tones 2+ : Frequency 7 : Nothing can hide from these settings. Try it !
P.S. If you use a Garrett pin pointer it makes the T2 go crazy if in Frequency 7. Good Hunting, Rick :ukflag:
