T2 SE earns its keep

Coinseeker 78

I had not used my Teknetics T2 Se in about three months. I was using some other detectors instead. I took the T2 out and decided to get use to using it in the boost mode. I had tried it before but did not like the tone it put off when picking up targets. I decided to use it until I got use to the tones it put off. It did not take long to learn what certain tones would indicate like foil and iron. Coins were putting out a tone that was fairly consistent I found in coin signals the tone and with a consistent vid were right on. I was working my way back to the car and got a consistent 79 80 reading. I dug and wonder of wonders out popped a gold graduation ring. I examined the ring and found it was not a school ring but a US marine ring with a topaz and 10K band. the depth was at 8 inches and there was some wear evident. This ring probably dates back to World War 2. This ring alone pays for my T2. I have a lot of old grounds I need to go back to and detect in the Boost mode. I also found some deep clad.
Good hunting
