T2 SEF VS Standard coil

Youngted

New member
When I purchased my T2 it came with a SEF12x10 coil as well as the standard coil. I now find that the SEF is better on un plowed land but recently on the unrealised soil of the Costwolds in the UK I have found that the standard coil handles the soil better. I.E. on the same site only an acre .SEF 5 small 4th century coins the standard coil 14 small 4th century coins plus some deep lead.Time spent in both cases was an hour and a half.
