T2 Sensitivity

I am ruining my T2 at 99 Sensitivity all of the time, on all my fields and it runs fine, but it is shallow 4ins on a coin no depth is this right for the UK T2

Please do an IN AIR test at the 'default' (switch-on) settings.

Use a modern coin.

Name your coin. (and date)

Also, the indicated number it produces.

Do a Ground Grab routine on some soil patch and remember the Ground Phase reading.

From that set-up we can make a reasonable guess at your T2's status.

4 inches on a coin, with 99 sense, and able to run without instability, does not bode well.

The T2 should be able to sense a 1 inch diameter coin in air, at about 8 inches, at default settings.(depending on the alloy/metal composition and coin thickness).

Don't sweep the coin too slowly across the coil.....MattR.UK

p.s. If other US T2 owners could please do the same test, then we will have a consensus of results for reference.

p.p.s. The Tigers are out tomorrow (Sunday)so will respond afternoon US time.
