T2 settings in HOT soil

New member
Hello all:

I searched and couldn't find a post, but I am going to be hunting in an apparently "very hot soil" site this weekend. I'm in Richmond, VA, so I don't normally hunt very hot soils.
What are your best settings for the T2 in hot ground, like those found in central to northern VA?

Thanks for your help.

I dug bullets at about 8" right in the middle where everyone else had hunted. Try the offset feature and see how it works for you. I didn't go past the (neg 6) setting but it does go to (neg 9). Just play around with it. I don't know if it makes it better on Buttons or not as I didn't find any at the time. Of course when I discovered this little bit-of-info was on the last day with about 2 hours left to hunt. Just my luck but looking forward to next time. Good Luck!

Thanks Trocar,

Unfortunately, my hunt got canceled. I'll post next time I'm up there diggin' in that hot ground.
