T2 vs T2 ltd vs Nautilus DMCIIB?

I've been thinking of either buying a T2 Ltd as a back up or maybe selling my Naughty to help recoup from the cost. Love the Nautilus but from all the reviews it seems as if most people are saying the T2 Ltd is just as good (and better in hot ground or trashy areas) if not better. I don't think hot ground is too much of a problem for me right now and can always swap the Naughty to a 6in coil for trashy spots. So before I make the jump and do buy one I as wondering if it is a deeper detector. I have heard the Naughty in good ground can go don to 20in sometimes. In the past I did have a dime buried 16- 20in and was able to get a weak signal on it (can't now though- probably needs some TLC from the factory- its an old unit). Good thing I don't have a lot of coins buried in my test garden... That and is it worth spending the extra $ to buy the Ltd version? Does the Cached and Boost options really work and if so what are the benefits? What is the deepest someone has found a coin (in any type of ground)? Thanks
Bob

The two Are close..The Nautilus is a total different machine..
You may want to locate a local dealer and compare them side by side.

Hi Bob! yes its deeper in boost. It also allows you to swing the coil 4-5 inches above the ground and still get really good depth. Great for tall grass or areas where you cant get coil on the ground. Machine runs 20 - 30 hours on a set of 4 AA batteries. Some guys get 30- 40 hrs. New SE Model runs a bit smoother due to new circuitry.
The SE also comes with a 5" DD coil which is AWESOME in trash and remarkable depth.

Feel free to call me. I can make you a great deal on the SE or T2. Thanks, Bart.

Good thread! I recently bought a Nauty, because I've always wanted one. The T2 will be my favored machine, but I'm gonna use the nauty some in big fields.

Yes I love my old Naughty but think I should have her checked out by Nautilus to make sure she is working correctly. Hate to have to search those big fields more than I need to. If the T2se can go as deep as the Naughty I am definitely interested. I like the auto GB feature and minerization bar graph. Love that the Naughty is built like a tank but it if the T2 can hold its own then I might keep the Naughty as a back up. I have nearly all the coils for it as well as a DepthMaster. Need a back up detector anyways.

I'll be calling Bart to see if I can swing the price on a T2 SE.

By the way is the Boost / cache feature really useful for coin shooting?
Thanks Bob
