c t

New member
Wondering if anyone has tried their t2se on wet salt sand especially on newengland beaches does it ground balance. Using stock 11in. Dd. Or must it be set at 0 thanks in advance. Best of luck in 2013. C t

This question was a hot discussion a few years ago so I did this video using the original F75. The same applies to the T2.

here in northen ca its a different story the t2 in wet saltwater sand does not work very well to much black sand and on some beaches even dry sand it does not work well all depends on where your at. all you can do is try and see hh

Hmmm interesting. Thinking that gold is usually found in areas full of black sand that the t2se would work in all metal manually ground balanced now on the wet sand perhaps not due to added mineralization however on the dry or gravely stuff shouldn't it I have read many articles on how acclaimed it is in gold fields it will be a while most likely July but I will try it out on Boston area beaches. Thank you. Ez. For the info. HH. Ct

true it does work ok on beaches that are more gravel than sand, but most of sandy beaches here are loaded with black sand and makes vlf detectors overload unless you turn the sense way down and keep the coil 2 to 3 inches in the air and then you cant get any depth maybe a few inches my next md will most likely be a pulse ind machine hh

I go to the jersey shore every day for work for the last month, after work I hit the beach for an hour or 2. I have the T2se and I set sens. 55 disc. 25 and manual ground balance (on the wet sand) between 10 and 17. works well for me with good depth. I try a new setting every day, This is the one i will use wet sand only
