Target ID GRAPH for United States

I've been having trouble memorizing Target ID numbers...so I decided to create a graph that I could attach to my control unit.

I combined two different ID charts that I found on the internet...I haven't actually tested any of the numbers.(the numbers seem to be OK so far)

I "laminated" the graph between two layers of packaging tape. For now, I'm just taping the graph to my dust cover.

Yeah that looks like a good plan. Nickles will hit at 8 also, here anyhow. Everything pull tabs is also Gold, Here pull tabs include 22. Unfortunately zincs hit everywhere Indians do.

I did the same thing for a couple of months until a lot of the numbers started sticking in the old brain. Hunting in city parks really helped with the numbers because so many diffferent coins pop up all the time.

Just for the record the one and only 14k gold ring I found bounced between 18 and 20 on my x-Terra 70 with the stock coil. You don't want to pass up gold for a pull tab.

Thanks for the comments!

I got out for a while yesterday. I like the chart, but xwyokid is right. Once I get used to it, I probably won't need the graph.

But for NOW....it really helps.

Crocket....I'll be digging EVERYTHING for a while.

WOW I HATE foil, at least pulltabs can go in with the recycled cans. I'm also finding an alarming amount of nails and wire around the playground equipment.

Good idea! I used to keep the TID chat in the FAQFAQ section with me all the time. It will for sure help, Beale.

I use an etrac now but used the xterra for a year and a half, got quite well with it, once you learn to use multi tones you will totally forget all about numbers!

Updated TID chart N/T

I agree. I hardly ever look at the numbers except to tell a fellow xterra user what it is hitting on...
