A: Yes, with the 10" elliptical Concentric coil. Now, I am not one to exaggerate so I can tell you honestly that most coins, in most typical coin-producing sites, are NOT going to be locate that deep. My 47 years of detecting, including a very wide-range of hunting sites and conditions, has proven that most coins, trade tokens, jewelry and similar man-used, smaller-size targets are going to be found in the surface to 4" range. More of the "deeper" coins will fall below 4" and down to 5", 6" and maybe 7". Coins in the over 7" depth range are seldom found. Yes, there are some conditions where they might be deeper like that, but not typically so.
I am not a big fan of Double-D coils, factory or aftermarket, on almost any make or model detector. It's just me, perhaps, and because I also hunt trashier, brushier or building rubble plagued sites and prefer a smaller-than-stock coil. That said, the 11" DD is NOT a favorite of mine on the Omega or other 'Greek Series' models. I use it on the T2 because I need to.
The only DD coil I DO like on the Teknetics line-up is the round 5" DD. That coil is a killer in dense trash and very maneuverable in the brushy homesteads, ghost towns and pioneer/military encampments I seek out. Matter of fact, I have found several coins in the 6"+ range with the Omega w/5" DD coil. No, not often, but I have.
Using the Omega and the stock 10" elliptical Concentric coil, I think I might have recovered maybe two dozen coins in the over 8" depth range (of the over 8,000 coins I have recovered since I got the Omega in late march of 2010). Of those few, some were maybe 9" or slightly deeper, but I wasn't making an exact measurement. Just a good close guess using a 6+" dollar bill.
For me, if I were limited to Only One Teknetics model, and a spare coil for all my detecting needs, it would be the Omega w/10" elliptical Concentric and the round 5" Double-D. I wish the modle line would have the full-range of all metal acceptance in the Discriminate mode like the T2, but they don't. If there was a good Concentric coil made for the T2, it would bump up from my #2 Teknetics pick to #1, probably.
Regardless of the make or model detector used, coins at 9" will come seldom, and they won't be as strong an audio response as a shallower coin. Models like the Delta can produce a louder, full-strength response because they use a saturated audio circuitry. The modulated audio Omega design can be a softer response on those deeper coins (6" and over) if the Sensitivity is reduced, but most of the time I run the Omega at about maximum Sensitivity of '99' and that helped the audio response on those deeper coins I have found. Also, I use Killer-B Wasp or SunRay Pro Gold headphones and that helps with my impaired hearing.

I feel lucky to have hit a quarter at 8" yesterday with my Delta especially considering that the signal was pretty strong on medium sensitivity.I agree with you 100% that most of the coins are found at the 4-5" range.I am confident that my next MD will be either an Omega or a T2. Kudos to Teknetics
