TDI Pro - Low Conductivity Hunt = 10K Gold Ring

Went to Dog Beach here in San Diego yesterday afternoon for a short hunt - it was pretty crowded, but had a lot fun. Ran the TDI Pro in the "low conductivity" setting - got all the usual suspects: foil pieces, hairpins, bottle caps, a nickel, pulltabs, a battery, small metal clips, a staple, a bobby pin - and a small 10K gold ring with dolphins on it towards the end of the hunt.

It turned into a "show & tell" about metal detectors - people were watching me recover the targets, and genuinely interested in how it works. Most were very happy I was removing trash from the beach sand - good PR for metal detecting!

Great pr work... Now I bet a dozen or so of them are checking ebay right now looking to start the cool hobby. Congrats on the unique 10k ring

Congratulations on a great find!

Beautiful gold ring sandbandit! It's fitting that you would find dolphins at the ocean! Good job. Best of luck and...

Happy Hunting!
