Tech help needed maybe ?

I have an old Goldmaster 11 , the problem is when using this on a goldfield that has almost No mineralized ground I could not ground balance , there is a small bit of information in the manual about his but not enought to explain why it just screams at every setting ?

I'm upset about not being able to use it after traveling

Did you turn down the sensitivity? Whenever mine goes ballistic I dial back the sens till it mellows. Then rebalance.

Yep I tried that , even changed coils .
On the drive home I gave it a go on & it worked fine again because the ground was mineralized !
