AFTER WORK I HAD LESS THAN 1 HOUR OF LIGHT LEFT AS IT GETS DARK AT 5PM NOW
WENT TO A NEWER PARK THAT HAS ALWAYS HAD SOMETHING FOR ME
EVEN THOUGH I HAVE BEEN THERE COUNTLESS TIMES
FIRST COIN I DUG WAS A TOONIE (2 DOLLAR COIN)
GOT SOME OTHER COINS TOO
BUT NOW IT WAS GETTING VERY DARK
SO I DUG SIGNALS I WOULD NEVER DIG
2 SURPRIZES RESULTED FROM THAT
MY SECOND TOONIE
THEN GOT A DEEP QUIET SIGNAL RARE FOR THIS PARK FULL OF SCRAP
AFTER A LOT OF DIGGING DISCOVERED A SILVER DOLLAR SIZE COIN
WITH A JOGGER ON 1 SIDE
AND AFRICA ON THE REVERSE
MAGNET WONT STICK BUT DONT KNOW IF ITS CLAD
POSSIBLE 1919 DATE ON IT
CLAD TOTALLED $9.65
WHICH IS FAB FOR 60 MINUTES
EYEBALLED A ST CHRISTOPHERS MEDAL IN MY GARBAGE ROOM TODAY
PROBABLY CLAD
HAD FUN YESTERDAY AND TODAY TAKING SOME OF MY RUSTY COINS TO THE COIN COUNTING MACHINE AT THE BANK...................LOVE RECYCLING

GETTING CLOSER TO FINDING OUT WHAT THIS DOLLAR SIZE MEDAL IS
MULTICULTURAL CENTRE SAYS IT SAYS AFRICAN ISLAMIC 1989 ON IT
DETECTED 2 DAYS AGO GOT $11.50 WHICH IS FAB FOR DEC
MAY BE WARM ENOUGH TO GO OUT ON MONDAY
BUT NOT AS WARM AS GERMANY WHERE STRAWBERRIES HAVE BEEN
IN DEC THATS A FIRST
 
Yeah Joey, up here we're for thr most part done detecting, snow and frozen ground. Lake Nippy just froze over, funny it was wavy and rough Weds. Cool formations where the waters edge met the sandy beach sands. Funny thing sandy beach is not frozen or snow covered. But, it's been hunted to death.
Wow just checked the weather--heat wave this week, considering it's been around 10-25 degrees for the past week.

If I had the time, would make the 5 hour drive south to your area and hunt, your weather forecast looks pretty good this week.
