Tejon finds first silver.

Was out on a charity dig at the weekend and this turned up. A Henry VIII silver half groat. The depth at which she came up was roughly 5". Standard coil.

As the fields were reasonably quiet I used 'threshold all metal' but decided to try it out using the VCO setting. It took me a wee while to start to get used to it but by the end of the day I was starting to be able to judge the depth of most finds. Flick the switch forward to check the target in disc, set at just below the f in foil.

Still a long way to go learning the Tejon but thourghly enjoying the machine and feel the best is yet to come with her.

Looking forward to getting the 13" Ultimate coil for her next month.
