Over my lunch break I took the Tejon Cherry picking in a local park. It dates back to the 40's so it's good for some wheats and an occasional silver. Today I cranked the discrimination up on the Tejon to just above Pull-Tabs and started swinging. Here is the results of a 45 min hunt.
2 - Merc Dimes 34, 42
7 - Wheat cents
1 - 2002 cent (on the surface, glad to hear the Tejon kept the familure "double- beep" when a target is on the surface)
2 - Screw tops
4 - 45 cal. bullets (normal finds for a military park)
1 - large hunk of aluminum can
1 - large hunk of lead/aluminum type metal.
The Tejon is really a smooth machine. I know the ground here is full of pull-tabs as I was spot checking the area with the dual discrimination feature. Beeps were plentiful but I didn't have time to dig all of the junk. I sometimes just like to let the discrimination work for me when time is limited and I'm in dockers and a polo. All of the coins except the surface one were beyond the 4" mark. Great machine.
