teknetic G2

I think it's more of a general purpose detector with a speciality in prospecting. It, like the AT Gold(Garrett) is set up to do a bit of everything.
 
I use a G2 in n.y....no prospecting here...it a good coin hunter and a great relic machine..and good for gold jewelery picks the goods out of the iron.

designed t fill a gold nugget hunting need. However, Discrimination circuitry bumped it up to more versatile unit and it can do other hunting, but is mainly a nugget hunting oriented model.
