First impression is good. I have used the F75 on which the basic foundation of the t2 is the platform design.
I am mostly, and some would say a "COINSHOOTER" only.
I hunt very few relics and when I do find one it's by accident of the area I am detecting. So I find the T2 does what I like best..Finds coins. Lots of coins.
The expanded iron discrimination works great in trashy parks. (40) setting.
In fact so does 50.Takes out a good deal of the foil, and still gets super depth on the T2...........
Higher still discrimination removes a lot of pull tabs, yet allowing depths of 7 to 8 Inches on the Wheat Cents I found... It responds fast on targets, though I do think the F75 is a little faster.....
I do like the top half of the display...Iron, foil, nickle, tabs, zinc, dime, quarter..it's large enough for my eyes to see the probable target. with the intensity arrow underneath..The arrow displays different for depth intensity and probable target id accuracy. The F75 has same but much smaller and hard for me to see it.
Like the F75 it has large Probable Id numbers that someone with failing eyesight could see very well. I like the id symbols on the top. Two ways to decide dig or not dig..
The fast Grab ground balance is dead on.I did both manual and fast grab and they were the same or off just a little depending if I GB'd exactly where I fast Grabbed.
No process settings on the T2, but near same id available using the tones available..Each tone setting does near the same as F75 process..IE. 3b has bottle cap id as does the F75 Bottle cap process. So not much difference just set up different.
Can't speak much about T2 abilities as this was first trip out...Can say I like it, it works well, it's deep.........and it will not miss many old deep coins from what I saw today...
The weight and ergonamics were sensational.......0 fatigue.... You could swing this machine for hours..
