Temp 44...............ground wet.........Old football field from the 1930's and 1940 era. Worked perimeter and some center field areas
Sensitivity 72 good stable operation
Fast Grab ground balance..works perfect
3B tones
Discrimination 40
Tried fast and slow swings....Fast swings produced deeper
targets..Some good some not good.
Once target response good on the meter I slowed and isolated the targets. Some good targets were in same hole as trash (Pull tabs) Got two or three id's almost simultaneously..but watched the meter and by turning 90 and almost 180 degrees on some signals isolated the good targets from bad (Pull Tabs) and can slaw..and small pieces of metal ??.no idea what..signals.
If good signal repeated, and all the finds did repeat I dug it.
Most targets were 5 " Plus 1928 Canadian penny was 9" deep. The large coin (?) don't know what it is was about 8" deep. Loud and clear signal. registered quarter range. 1947 Silver dime was only 5" deep....Very good loud shriller sound. Indian Nickles were about one foot apart and 6" deep both read 78-79 on meter with high tone.No great feat on the nickles but just the idea of finding two within such close proximity surprised me.
Anyway here is picture of the keepers.and trust me there were plenty of non keepers too.
