Had a wonderful first ever time on the beach with the t2. I had to take of my detech 13" head and stick on the stock 5" coil.
Iset the machine at 85-40-+1 with GB at 15... Worked a treat in 4 hrs I had 39 coins 4 were sixpences, 1 was a George 5th half crown and 1 shilling. Also had a ring and a silver earring, and two nice brooches.

And hi! I live in Devon UK been detecting 2 years. Found two lots of treasure up to now if you want me to post pics of previous hammered and roman coins give me a shout.

Cheers

Mr Tanky me old mate, read about the trip to the beach with Janner earlier on,must admit had not thought about using the smaller coil, but looking at your haul for the day it obviously works very well and with those setting.

Are you still going to the Stratford upon Avon dig ??? will be going as well.

Nice going. Was the 13 inch coil too much for the minerals at the beach? Maybe a Sharpshooter coil might be the cat's meow.

Hey Mega B
I'm in Norfolk {UK),and trying to sort out what beach machine will pick small gold chains etc. Were you working the wet sand?

What coil works best on salt water beaches. The stock coil T-2 se, or the 5inch dd coil. Thanks
