Someone told me that the GTI 2500 no longer has Treasure Talk! I sold my old 2500 and was thinking about getting a new one just to talk to that nice lady! Onus
 
Yeah ... like I really need my detector to talk to me in pre-recorded messages.
A simple "beep" tells me all I need to know.
Treasure Talk Indeed! ... just another useless feature on an otherwise decent detector.

BTW ... isnt there one fella out there that claims to detect coins 36" deep with his 2500?
 
I sent mine in and it came back a mute. No Treasure Talkie... Don't mind that a bit.
 
Does anyone remember the craze in the early 80s with talking cars? I had a 1983 Cougar with the "feature". It didn't take long to get annoying. I suspect a talking detector would too.
