Tesoro Cibola :tesoro::usaflag: My Genie Saved The Day:detecting:

I thought I'd do some more detecting today along some sidewalks and curbs. I was finding plenty of rotten stinking Lincolns and time was running out for me to find a silver coin today. I was working along a stretch of sidewalks and came upon a small block of aluminum ( I put it back on the ground for reference, see first picture) . I almost swept past it with my coil, but I starting thinking there could be something really good under it, so I picked it and put it in my trash pouch and swept the coil over the exact spot where it was laying. I got a sweet sounding audio tone. I dug down and popped a 1940 Mercury Dime. What are the odds? I love my Genie and Cibola.:) I ended up finding a 1940 Mercury Dime, a Large Cent, a Buffalo Nickel, a Play Dime, a few clad coins and several Wheat Pennies (1926, 1956, 1941). I had a great time.

Same setting as usual. A slight hum for the threshold, discrimination set just where a Gatorade Sports Drink Foil Cap discriminates out, slightly negative on the ground balance and full sensitivity. She ran quiet as a mouse until she hit a target. I'm really likely this detector and coil a whole lot. It's so much fun to use.

People who have never used a Tesoro detector don't know what they're missing.

The ones where cars park next to grassy areas are the best. When drivers pull out their keys they occasionally pull out and drop some coins as well. Good Luck!
