So I decked out my F5 with camo wrap to cover the holes in the shaft, protect the coi and headphone wires, and keep the grip clean. I really liked the way it looked, but then started thinking that Im gonna look like Im carrying an assault weapon. Where Im hunting, that is not a good thing. So I took the leftover wraps from my daughter's cast (broken finger) and dressed up my Outlaw to be a kinder, gentler detector.

I should now look a whole lot less intimidating while out and about in the city...although I might get more kids bothering me too.

I use the camo wrap to go around the control boxes on my Tesoro detectors. It keeps the side decals from getting scratched up if they fall over on their side.

That grip looks like its from a bike or motorcycle handlebar. Wherever its from, thats a great idea!
