I need a new pinpointer, anyone heard of anything of Tesoro coming out with one?

The Treasuremate by Tesoro has been available for years. I have several.

I just got a new TRX pinpointer and I am impressed. I didn't know if I would be but glad I made the choice.

I have no experiance thus no input about Tesoros pinpointer. However, I've used the Fisher the Detector Pro and Garrett pinpointer and of these there is no comparison the Garrett Pro Pointer is by far the best overall. The Detector Pro is deeper but is long and ungainly. The Fisher is terrible it has no depth and is too delicate. The Garrett is tough, reliable and have very good depth.

don't think it would be feasible for a pin pointer as the 4 inch coil would not fit in 75% of the plugs I dig  But for other uses Like in walls and such and under houses and porches would be awesome

I see no one has posted or asked about the Treasuremate in use. I have several and in comparison to the Garrett Pro Pointer, the depth is quite similar. The Treasure mate has a ground balance adjustment, a tuning adjustment, and can be set for audible or vibrate. The adjustments can be a little quirky, but it will pick up a small gold picker that I haven't been able to get a response from any other pointer that I've tried, including the Pro pointer so it has the potential to be useful in crevicing when prospecting. When I acquired mine, the Pro Pointer, Pistol Probe etc. weren't on the market and the Treasuremate was difinitely superior to the White's and any others I was able to compare to. Currently, I llike and use both the Treasuremate and the Prop Pointer and would be hard put to choose one over the other as a favorite for general detecting/coinshooting. I'd like to get my hands on the new Whites to see how it compares, especially on the small gold picker.

I checked Tesoro's website and saw nothing about the Treasuremate, what do they cost and how good is it?

I purchased my first one at a Gold show, then another from Ebay listings - they were spendy at the time in the 160 - 70 dollar range. As I mentioned above, they work well, but can be a bit quirky to tune, but will pick up a small gold picker that I haven't been able to do with any other..
