Im just curious how many tesoro user are users due to 53silvers you tube videos. I know I am and I owe him a big thanks I got the Vaquero and the outlaw because of his videos. And I just got a brand new compadre cause his videos made me love Tesoro so much. So from me to 53silver THANKS A MILLION.

I got my hand raised,, just bought a Golden Umax.. very impressed with it,, 2 rings first 2 hour hunt...

He loves expressing the fact you don't need to spend $2,000.00 when $450.00 will do the same thing, and some better.

Never saw the videos myself, but the sentiment expressed above sums it up nicely.

Lots of people fall into the "it cost more, its better" mantra. Those of us in the know, know it ain't so.

Happy Hunting!

I for one am!! I have a vaq and a compadre because of his videos. I think myself that Tesoro should hire him to make the videos and include them with all the detectors they carry.

 I got my Tesoros before 53'silver did the videos but I have to say that he is really good at doing them. Please 53' Silver do some more vids on the Golden.:clapping:

I was locked in on a Tesoro and came across his videos while researching the Golden.

A good friend and former Tesoro dealer had recommended the Deleon and the Golden umax as a good partner to the cleansweep coil - 53silver's video let me see the Golden in action, and I ultimately acquired both the Golden and the Deleon. I like the Golden for concentric coil regular hunts and the I prefer the Deleon with the cleansweep coil; if I had to take just one, it would be the Golden.

If there was a spurious, worthless noise to good target ratio (chatter vs solid hits), the Golden towers above any detector that I have ever used. I don't understand how it can hit 6 or 7 inch coins with relative ease while running so silently. Both my Deleon and Silver umax are silent running detectors, but they are noisy compared to the Golden. Super, super fun detector to use because it gets you from target to target with effortless smoothness.

Well guess I never knew about any of 53silvers videos, but I still like my Tejon.

If anybody has a link to the videos I would like see some of them. Maybe I would like Tejon even better:) I am down in the back so about all I can do is set here, so some good videos would help pass the time.

Thanks

Ok. I do not want to start trouble but I disagree with the spending $ statements. I used a $1500 as my only detector for 10 plus years. Many of you own several detectors to perform the jobs my one $1500 detector could do. It is a hobby and we all spend $. We all think our particlular machine or machines is/are worth its/their weight in gold. I love my Tesoro but also love my $1500 machine. But in reference to the OP, I did buy my Golden because of 53Silver video :yo:

I decided on the vaquero before watching his videos, I like his youtube channel

that is right i would not have bought the outlaw without seeing his video, he has a real talent in making videos, his video helped me make the disision , . Wish he would make more.

Remember the one I sent you where he was comparing the E-Trac to the Vaquero? that was one of 53Silver's video's.
He was the one that said he just LOVED the Vequero.

I am getting a new outlaw because of Silver53 and Gunnar. First I have to get the Tiger Shark though. I had looked at the Xtera 705, but those videos changed my mind.

Thanks for the kind words. Three years ago I ran into a older man while metal detecting. When I asked him what he was using he said "Just a Tesoro, can

Tesoro detectors are so much fun! my oldest coin was found with a V also,1702.I think 53Silver really put it straight. What else is there to say?

I have found a new Golden but appears to be the old tone model. My friend has one and saw it in action and that's is what got me started. Then came 53 Silvers vids and how he set his. Very easy and seems to be just plain fun to use. I tried to set my AT Pro up to reject the common tabs in my area and then went to my test garden to see how it affected seeing the 2 gold rings in it as well as air tested rings and jewelry. It failed badly. Not a peep out of any of them. It has its place but for rings in the park hunting it looks like the Golden is for me. Just torn between the old and new tone style.

Okay 53Silver, I have mild soil and am only interested in silver coin hunting and clad coin hunting. Vaquero or Outlaw???? Anybody??

Either one will work just fine. As far as soil conditions, both have excellent Ground Balancing. If you "thumb the disc" to ID targets, edge to the Outlaw. It has better Disc resolution then the Vaquero. The Vaquero, has a touch better depth. It's a coin toss - no pun intended.
