Is this a fake ?

There are two SEF coils, 15x12 and 12x10, suitable to 10 khz tesoros, golden, silver, cortes, de leon ...

The seller has 0 feedback....first thing that caught my eye. Nothing to determine if it is legit or not...that would be a crap shoot imho.

I'd be pretty Leary. Tesoro offers enough usable coils that you KNOW will work.

It would be great if there is a new SEF for the Tesoro. But I would be very wary of this ebay listing.

Kellyco does not sell Tesoro detectors and they are the main distributer for SEF Detech coils in the USA, so this puts a damper on a SEF coil ever being available in the USA for a Tesoro, unless a UK(where some Tesoro detectors are renamed as Laser) dealer gets one in stock, but this has not happened so far as I just checked. I heard Detech(SEF) coils were made in Bulgaria, but they are very good and a top coil with many rave reviews.

So that eBay Tesoro SEF coil may or may not be legitimate, just be very careful as you do not lose your money. Does anyone have Detech's e-mail address or phone number in Bulgaria to contact them to find out for sure??

Just to be safe maybe get a Tesoro factory made 10"x12" or 3.6"x18" Clean Sweep instead.

The SEF coils are available for most of the most popular machines including the Ace 250 so why not for tesoro?

I just looked at a big over seas detector dealer that sell Tesoro but no SEF coil for it
Thy do have them for many others.

SEF coils are DD coils made in Bulgaria ( built somewhat on the style of the Minelab Se and E-trac Pro coil) and are sold thru Kellyco . Tesoro does not have business ties with Kellyco . Tesoro is a family owned business who sell thru their own dealers who adhere to a code Tesoro sets .Tesoro is a hands on company from the time their product is built , sold ,warranteed and serviced . All my dealings with Tesoro over the years have been great .

Kellyco is our USA distributor of the SEF coils but does not deal with Tesoro products so I guess those wont be available to us?

I have the 12X10 for my Etrac/Explorer and its a great coil, the seperation and depth is excellent!
