would anyone be able to tell me where to set the internal pods so it can run quiet in black sands type soil
or if this is even possible i have both the 8" round and 9" by 8"concentric coil

The only adjustments the end user should make are on the outside, and I believe the word that you are looking for is pot's (short for potentiometer).
