Tesoro Vaquero: I have the stock and 5.75 concentric. Should I get something else?

Would it be smart to get another one or just stay where I'm at? Is there one that adds more depth compared to the stock coil. I'm just wondering because I don't want to miss deeper silver

A bigger coil will go deeper & having more coils options adds versatility to the MDer you own.

I myself own the same machine with the same coils & would like to add a Clean Sweep coil. Even though the CS won't add depth it makes up for it on being able to cover large areas quick.

The only issue is I'm not sure they are in production at this current time & the last time I inquired they were'nt...........maybe allcav can chime in on avalibility.

I won't get a bigger coil (for depth) as I'm only hunting schools & parks (deep holes are frowned on or are prhibited).

So to answer your question, depends on the type of hunting you do.

That 5.75 will find you more compaired to the deeper larger coil as the stock is prone to target masking where as the smaller will allow you to pick thru.

Enjoy what you have and let what you find pay for the bigger coil. No reason to spend anything more as you are pretty much set coil wise.

I agree with Garyf. Unless you need more ground coverage or are sure you need an extra inch or 2 of depth, you're pretty well set with what you have.
