Tesoro vs Whites water detectors

Need some help...Would someone compare the Tesoro Water detectors to the Whites water detectors....I am in the market for one. With that said...I own a Fisher CZ70 Pro that I use on the beach and in very shallow
water.....Great machine...but I want to go a little deeper..I have owned a Tesoro Vaquero and it was a great detector....deep and would pin point within 1/4 inch...So I have some experience with Tesoro and none with Whites.
I know that PI is deep and all metal everything....I guess that I am trying to compare the Tiger Shark to the Beach Hunter ID....Any info would be appreciated.

You seem to always come here and post that link. You have been registered for 7 years and made 33 posts and the ONLY ones I ever see are for this link. Is there a hidden agenda behind your posts? If not I appologize but that link takes people away from this site.

I think BOTH the Tiger Shark and the BHID have their places along with the Excal and the CZ-20/21. ALL of them are top of the line machines from their respective manufacturers. The Shark has a lifetime warranty and that is hard to beat, BUT both are excelent machines.

The user didn't state if he is in salt or fresh water, wading or diving, Neither machine he is asking about is a PI. I have used a BHID and I have used the predecessor to the Shark with the StingRay 2, BUT I don't have enough experience with either to concider myself proficient with them.

I've had both the BHID and The Tiger Shark. I think both are top fresh water units. I now use the Tiger Shark and have sold the BHID. The only reason I sold the BHID was that mine was the 300 with the 12" coil. The lakes I hunt have a lot of rocks and the 12" coil made if tough to get between the rocks or close enough to the rocks to pinpoint well. If you have nice sandy areas to hunt, I'd go with the BHID for depth and the iron ID. But for more rocky areas, the smaller 8" coil on my Tiger Shark gets the job done.
