Test Garden

Great idea <img src="/metal/html/wink.gif" border=0 width=15 height=15 alt=";)">

No matter ... one detector can still be tested against another as the test target is the same.
I planted a pull tab 9" deep and it is suprising which detectors can detect that tab and which cant.
Beach sand is always in a state of movement but jewlery and coins are found with minelab detectors at respectable depths.
Cant explain why they detect so deep in sand but not disturbed ground.

Might have something to do with the moisture content. In any case many good detetors out there and some just work better in certain areas.I know you have several detectors and most serious detectorists if they can afford same also have a stable of them also. So I guess we could right down the fruit chain Apples to oranges to peaches etc as they all find goodies in their own way.....
