But what you need to do is call Troy and get him to send you a DD coil with a 7'cord. That way you can shoulder mount the box on a piece of plexie glass bent to the contour of your shoulder with what ever kind of shoulder strap you want to use. Now you can wade in water almost to your chest. My X5 has gotten wet a lot of times and keeps on working. Just think about going about what you want differently. All the coils for the X5 and X3 you can get with a 7' cord. Thats what I use and I have gotten some damn nice gold with diamonds. All my Coils for the X5 have the 7"cord on them as that is what I do most and that is water hunt. I use a CZ20 for the neck deep water. Not that the Excal is not a good detector but I just happen to have a CZ20 that has been juiced up at my request from the factory. I have a Exp ll for the beach and dry sand and a CZ70, MXT DFX, Xterra 70 along with the X5 and some others. Anyway said enough as I don't post much just hunt a lot. Keep on
