well when BIG SILVER comes into the light and nothing will put a big ole <img src="/metal/html/biggrin.gif" border=0 width=15 height=15 alt=""> on your face like that will. I pulled a Morgan Peace Dollar early this year out of my own yard and it was VERY DEEP. The Explorer sounded like it was hitting a buried beer can. The only difference was when I lifted the coil about 4" off the ground .. the sound started to fade.
Congrats on a great find and I just had to dig it.
