I have have used a Quattro, Safari and now a Sovereign for several months. Rick knows the Sovereign. I made a file of Rick's posts and put them into practice. I bought an Elite 550 meter and rescaled it to 180 as suggested and what difference it made. The meter is very stable and really locks on to targets. With his techniques of being in Disc mode, disc set at 0, notch off, going slow and listening for weak signals I have found deep silver and wheat cents. Also I can avoid the zinc pennies. Thank you Rick for speeding up my learning curve. Don
