Thanks to you who are praying for my daughter...

She is doing better. She now has a bad cold, but that is better than blacking out and having seizures and spending 6 hours in the emergency room. God is good, all the time!
It has been a rough month for us. Besides dealing with Holly's sickness, my mother-in-law had her 4th(or 5th...after a while you lose track) stroke. It wasnt as major as some of her previous strokes, so we are thankful for that. The kids also had their districts and state swimming championships. No major miracles this year(unlike last year). Lindseys medley relay team took 6th in state and Holly's team took 11th. We were at the swim meet for two whole days, but were able to get away for a couple of hours to go view some waterfalls along the Columbia River gorge. The nice thing about having a lot of rain, is that the waterfalls are pretty incredible right now.
Thanks again for your prayers for us.

J.
ps. Going on a rare business trip to New Orleans this next weekend. Anyone have any suggestions on things to check out while I'm there?

Here is a photo of Bridal Veil Falls. Note the bridge that goes over the stream near the top of the falls. It was CCC project.

This is the lowest part of the same falls and a massive rock that the water goes around.

This is Latourell Falls. Its quite a drop from the top to the bottom!

We had snow about a month ago. Here is some snow piling up on some dried flowers that I left from the fall. I know it doesnt match the rest of the shots but I liked it anyway.

I'm glad to read that your daughter is doing much better.

And thank you for the pics of God's magnificnet handiwork! Those falls are just beautiful!

seeing yourself coming from the other direction with all the activities in your life going on. Very good pictures J.

The snow on plants, ice on tree limbs, etc ia slways a breath of fresh air to us when we can't even find a flower because they are all buried deep in the snow. So glad you posted the picture, J.

Will continue to pray for your family...and that you have a safe trip to Orleans and back.

So glad she is feeling better. Awesome pics J!!!!
