FOR YOUR POST ON PENTECOSTAL/CHARISMATIC ISSUES. TAKE A STAND BROTHER AND DON'T GIVE UP JUST BECAUSE SOME DISAGREE WITH YOU.
 
Hi DK; As I've said before "To yor own Master you will stand or fall." In saying this I mean that I begrudge no person their beliefs. I know I am a "CHRISTIAN" PERIOD.!!!!!! I do not assign my faith in God to any man or any Church. I have done that many times only to be burned "MANY" times in some of tthe most horrendous ways you can think of. I read the NIV Bible and Pray every day.I am ssorry you had a bad experiencee but don't walk away from it but rather face it head on. My Faith is in GOD not Man.!!!!! If you stay focused on God rather than the words or actions oof Man then you will surely be all the stronger and better. In Romans 8 : (NIV) it says; "For you did not recieve a Spirit that makes you a slave again to FEAR. Rather you recieved the Spirit of Sonship and by Him we cry ABBA Father.!!! " Question is : What Spirit are you listening too, GOD'S or MAN'S ???? I can share other Scriptuures but I think I've made my point for now. I'll Share more later ok ??? Pray about it. Hi DK. thanx. Although, I don't know that I was really "taking a stand" on anything. I was asking a question (the initial one) d/t a study in our church on I Cor. 12 - 14. I came away from that still confused how proponents answer 12:30 (not even the proponents in our home study had an answer. It was as if ........ the though had not even occured to them!) So I wondered where else I could study this matter further, from the rank and file proponents. I seriously cross-examine answers given to me, in an effort to make sure they stand up to logic, hold water biblically, hoild context, etc..... So to that degree, it would appear that I am zealously non-charismatic. I am however, perfectly willing to change my views, if I can know it's true. Heck, I wouldn't even have to "change churches", as there are beautiful people on both sides of the issue right there!
