The 250 Gave Me A Workout This Morning

Went to a Church play ground this morning, and had the Ace250 with the stock coil ( 6.5x9" ) plus I had the 4.5" sniper, but I never took the time to change coils.
There were so many target, and it was trying to rain, I didn't want to lose any time in hunting, so I just used the stock coil, it seem there is never enough time when you are having a good time.

I got to hunt for about 2 1/2 hours before the rains came, got 44 quarters + 30 dimes + 10 nickels + 15 pennies, and the rest is junk.

I got to tell you, the Ace250 is my kind of detector!!

I am going to try send a picture, hope it works.

I don't think the picture is going to work, got to learn how to do it!

HH, Bernie

Bernie? Thats a lot of coins for 2.5 hours maybe a record. The statistics are almost opposite on clad to pennies.I wish my Prizm would find more quarters than pennies and dimes combined.Your finds look like an upside down pie chart. Ron

Is throwing quarters at each other some sort of a game? I mean you found more quarters then pennies.....

I'm sure if you had an extra lower rod, it would make changing coils a snap....That's alot of quarters...John

Yes! John your right, it would be alot quicker, and I have got two lower rods on order, but they will be white, didn't have any black lower rods in stock.

Thats the most change, I think I have dug in one outing.
And boy do my legs feel it this morning, from all the up & down.

Now I need to figure out how to send the pictures too the forum, I tyred a couple of times, but I would get a message ( picture too big )

Have a good Sunday, and HH, Bernie

Hi John

Yes thats what my wife said.

You know it's funny, I will go to this RV camp ground at Daytona speed way, and it will be packed with motor homes that you just would not believe ( where do the people get the money to buy ? ) and that is mostly what I find pennies!! I guess they are having to use the quarters on the gas.

One good thing about the play ground the coins are mostly surface coins in wood chips and ground up rubber tires, the depth, range from surface to 1" 2" 3" 4".

It's looks like the children have more money to throw around than the motor home owners.

John, have a good Sunday & HH, Bernie

Hi Ron

Yes Ron that's the most coins I think I have found at one outing.
Your Prizm would have done just as good, ( I would believe ) the coins are mostly surface coins, in wood chips and ground up rubber tires, ease to recover, depth was surface to 1" 2" 3" 4" no hard digging just a lot of up and down.

If you like I can email you a picture, I just don't know how to up load the picture to the forum yet, every time I try, I get a massage saying pic to big, I have no problem emailing them.

Have a good Sunday and HH, Bernie
