The adventures of BIGFANGCOINBITER and his sidekick NEALNOINIRONBRIGADE

The adventure started with a surprise permission from a groggy, frightened looking homeowner who says to us in a half asleep fashion,"yeah, go ahead". I would have bet 20 bucks that she was going to say no way! You just never know! This yard gave up a nice 2 center to me that is corrosion free on both sides...made my day already.
Then Robin asks permission from another older gentleman who finds out he knew Robin's father. Well I then I thought he would give us permission for sure...and he did!
BTW, Robin is good at public relations but he doesn't always do this well with getting permission. I will say he does better than I, but I'm 6'2" and have a scary beard.
This site gave up a few goodies to us including an indian and a local bar token. Then the rain told us we had to quit. Thus ends another exciting adventure of two guys and their metal detectors.

Nice finds - that's a pretty two cent piece. Your token is also nice. It's not listed in the text Indiana Trade Tokens by Lloyd Wagaman (1981). In fact, only one merchant is listed from this town (Cap Smith - pool hall) and this token has an R-9 rating (2 to 4 known). My guess is that an Indiana token collector would be interested in the token. You can try looking through some city directories of Lakeville or do some research on Google to find out when your token was used. Neat finds and HH.

Good stuff...the 2 center is in nice shape.....that key, I really like it too.

I like all of it ! HH

No date on that dog tag? So is the two center the small motto version? It was fun to get together (as always)!
