The best deal on the G2 - Without Question

I just received my new G2!!! First, let me tell you guys, if any of you haven't dealt with Bart at http://www.bigboyshobbies.net (you all have read his posts all over this forum), THEN YOU OWE IT TO YOURSELF TO GIVE HIM A SHOT !!! I searched the Internet over and turned it upside down, but I could not find a deal as sweet as I got from Bart. I TRULY believe that I got the best deal that could be found. THANKS A MILLION BART!! By the way, Bart didn't put me up to this. I am just so pleased with this deal that I just had to give his business some recognition. YOU HAVE EVERYTHING TO GAIN BY SHOOTING HIM A QUICK EMAIL JUST TO GET A PRICE QUOTE.

Back to the G2. I have assembled it, and I have given it a few swings to feel how light and well balanced it is. I love the feel of it. There is only one thing so far that I don't like, and it is that I will not be able to take it out on a hunt for a few days (other than the front yard), so I will definitely be anxious until I can hit the fields with it.

I found the best review of the G2 last night. If you are thinking about buying a G2 then you really should read this: http://detectorstuff.com/2010/10/29/teknetics-g2-review/ Don't read it if you are not wanting to buy one, because you may fall into temptation.

I will be posting updates as I get to use the G2. I am used to using the DFX, so I am interested in discovering the difference between the two.

Looks like we have another happy member in our G2/GBSE "fraternity"!! :)-----Only bad part about all this---FT's "best kept secret" is getting discovered! ;)

Yes. I am very happy, and I haven't really hit the dirt with it yet (isn't that crazy???). I did take about five minutes to hit one small patch of my front yard just to see what she sounded like. I ground balanced (easily), and tried the G2 out for a few minutes. I set the Disc on 40 and was delighted to hear lots of metal everywhere. In that little part of my yard I did get several very good signals, which were promising. I didn't dig a single one of them. I just didn't have the time (though I wanted to dig them!). Obviously with the G2 I will easily relocate these targets and dig them when I get a little more time.

I can't wait to spend a day with this thing. It feels real good in the hand. Light as a feather. I can imagine swinging this thing around all day long without switching arms so often.

I have bought two units through Bart @ Big Boys Hobbies...Great guy to deal with and I don't believe anyone could beat his prices, if your in the market for a Fisher or Teknetics give him a shout.

Just another happy customer giving a well deserved plug!
