The best of the week. :teknetics:

Swung the Omega pretty much all hunts this past week with the 10 DD coil in place. Hunted the edges of some asphalt roads that go around and through some wooded areas and they yielded me 2 black Mercury and 1 Rosie dimes. The Rosie is a 54 and 1 Merc is a 45s and the other is 19?3. Maybe 43. Also got a 38 Merc, a no date Buffalo nickel and a 1906 IH cent from a picnic area nearby the woods and trails. Tabman and I worked a corner lot that has been giving up a lot of wheat cents and a handful of silver coins along with 2 silver rings. On one hunt I got the S L quarter that one number of the date is a 3. On another hunt got the 60d Rosie. This particular site has a good bit of iron in it and the 60d Rosie was masked pretty good. The 10" DD was able to get enough of it from one direction to merit digging. Most of the good targets on this lot are in the 5-7" depth range and just inching your way along is about the only way to get them. It was a nice week for hunting down here and a few old coins was nice icing on the cake, so to speak. HH jim tn

Swell diggs! Hope the ice dont get you this coming week...its already thawing up here today! snow is now very heavy, sledding hills tomorrow for me, didn't make it this am, stayed up too late last night shoveling snow and watching Gold Rush and Bering Sea Gold, I DID get up early, but was not running on all 8..
I had a big red fox run right up to me and my little dog last night about midnight while we were outside! I think he had some bad intent in mind!
