I certainly had some highlights, and here are a few!
Spending Fathers day with my daughter Shelby prospecting for gold was a blessing!
Here she is happy about beginning our 700 mile our trip.

Here we are working on the trommel.

Another great highlight is when while working the trommel I looked down and seen a fella wearing an Alaska T-shirt. He asked me a question, then said I am George. That is all he had to say! I knew he was Alaska Seeker who I have known for about 8 or 9 years just have not met yet. I got down from the trommel quickly to shake his hand and give him a hug! Later we spent time in the creek together in fellowship and I was learning from the master!
He told me that his son lived a few hours from there and when he found out I was going to be in NC he decided to drive down and surprise me. Boy did he!

The next blessing is that when the dig was done, we left and headed to Knoxville to get a room. I had called Doug from our forum and informed him that I was going through his town twice and would like to hook up. We got into town at about 10pm so Brian was in bed already so Doug came to the motel to visit for about 30 minutes. We made plans to meet at 7 am for breakfast. Here we are visiting in the evening.

7 am arrives and Shelby and I met up with Doug and Brian for breakfast. We had not seen them in 5 years when we had went to TN for Christmas and we met Doug and Brian for the first time and went Geocaching with them. We were as excited to see them again as they were to see us.

As always the Good Lord provided an awesome sunset for us while on the trip! It was a blast, and I am truly blessed!
