which tid/vid detector is the better choice for detecting jewellery,coins on beach's both wet and dry,parks,tot lots,bus stops and anywhere else i've missed.of these three:- tesoro's deleon,minelab x terra 50or the garrett ace 250.you gentlemen have a wealth of knowledge to share.so how about it .what do you reckon? blowfly hh

I hate to tell you this, but when you use the word jewelry you exclude a VDI machine of any kind. That being said, the Tesoro machines leave a wider gap of ID on coins to concentrate on the middle #'s where jewelry/nickels fall-but jewelry still remains a digging game.
