The book of Jonah

TURNMASTER

I think we should read and consider the application and effects of this prophets experience in our own lives. There are a number of lessons in this short book that we can take away.

Thoughts or coments?

Well it teaches us that if we disobey God's directives and go the other way then we shall suffer the consequences like Jonah but end up having to do what God says anyway but by suffering with our faith being tried much longer! May God Bless! Amen! Ma Betty

God had believers on the boat after Jonah's side trip. They may not have denounced "all of their gods" but, they did come to believe.

God will use me in spite of myself. And Thats Not All.

There is more in that little book than I remember being there.

I understand the application and the results.

NO, I wouldn't want to either, so let us follow God's orders in Jesus' name, but if not....Then don't take a boat or an airplane to escape what we are called to do when serving our Lord and Savior! Amen!  Ma Betty
