Optimism and hope often are crowded out of our lives by our busy schedules. We can become so focused on things and work, even good and necessary activities, that we lose out on our relationship with Jesus. This relationship is essential to our growth in all aspects of our lives. What do the following text tell us about how we are to live our lives? What are the lessons we can learn from each of these examples?

Micah 6:8 (New King James Version) "He has shown you, O man, what is good; and what does the LORD require of you but to do justly, to love mercy, and to walk humbly with your God?"

Luke 8:14 (New King James Version) "Now the ones that fell among thorns are those who, when they have heard, go out and are choked with cares, riches, and pleasures of life, and bring no fruit to maturity."

Luke 10:38-42 (New King James Version) Mary and Martha Worship and Serve "Now it happened as they went that He entered a certain village; and a certain woman named Martha welcomed Him into her house. And she had a sister called Mary, who also sat at Jesus
 
All things done in the flesh on this sinful earth will not matter and be forgotten, for only what is done for Jesus will last! Therefore, let us lay up treasures in heaven where neither thieves break in and steal, for earthly treasure will mold and turn to rust and be no more! May God Bless! Amen! :angel: Ma Betty
