I believe Jacob being old in age and Joseph being without his mother just wanted to show his love for Joseph but didn't intend to make the other brothers jealous....the youngest child in our older ages is usually doted upon more so than when we were younger and had our first children! When life is passing fast, we can see what is past and what we could or should have done, but many times it is too late and, yet, we try to change our ways through our youngest children and give them what the others or we didn't have while growing up! The older a person gets the wiser we should also be getting especially in godly wisdom and serving our Lord God Jehovah by worshiping Him in Spirit and in Truth! There is an old saying, Too soon OLD and too late SMART and I think we are all like this when we have children late in life and then we also dote over the grandchildren that come along, for children are so precious and more so to many men and women in their older ages, for life is passing them swiftly by and they realize it more so than when younger! Thanks for your posts, Martin! May God Bless! Amen! Ma Bety
