Read Genesis 37:12-25. What great contrast between good and evil is seen here, between innocence and treachery? Joseph Sold by His Brothers "Now his brothers had gone to graze their father

Good post, Martin! Not only do brothers and sisters envy the favored one of God and family but in the godless nations, the other religions worshiping fake gods, are jealous of Christians enough to torture and murder them, thinking they can get rid of the goodness they bring from their Almighty God Jehovah in Jesus' name! A name that is hated by all or almost all that do not believe in Him or know Him personally! They will admit there is a God but don't believe He is Jesus, Who is the one and only God, by Whom we are saved from our sins!

The evil spirits inside those who are jealous and hate us, because of Whom we love and serve with obedience while spreading the Gospel of Jesus, will strike back against the Holy Spirit within God's true believers! Even though the works of Joseph's brothers were for evil, God worked it out for their good because when the drought hit the lands and caused famine...God had prepared Joseph ahead of time by his dreams to be in favor of the Pharoah and be able to store the food and grains in warehouses during the seven years of plenty for the seven years of drought causing famine in the lands!

Joseph's dreams came true and all his family bowed before him in Egypt when they came and received the food they needed, even though when they found out he was alive and were afraid he would kill them, he didn't and welcomed them with open arms just like our Father in Heaven will and like the Prodigal son's father did him! With love in our hearts, we want the best for our own families and also for others, for when truly believing and filled with God's Spiritual agape love we aren't envious of those who have more of God's Spirit and are in His favor more than we are ourselves nor in Whom we believe, for God works it all out for our good and for His purpose! Satan can kill the body, but only God Jehovah can kill both body and soul by casting the sinful ones into the Lake of Fire for their unbelief in our Lord Jesus Christ! Amen! May we each believe in our own spiritual infilling of God's Holy Spirit and grow in faith as we see, hear and learn by studying, diligently, His Holy Word, the Bible! I love Jesus...DO YOU??? Ma Betty
