The Consequences: Guilt and Fear

Good post of some very wise words!! You know, even as children we tend to blames others for anything that happens and don't want to admit that we done wrong ourselves! I think this is mainly due to the fact that most would get in trouble with their parents and be punished and kids don't like scoldings or spankings! If not corrected early enough this is carried on into teenage years and as adults! My dad was very strict and knew when my brother and I were lying and if we didn't want to get in worse trouble then we better not lie to him! I was scared to death of him and never wanted to cross his path to upset him or get into trouble! So, in a good way, I grew up knowing right from wrong and though it was not easy growing up with my dad, I can think him for my not turning out a liar or a thief! :)

Adam and Eve were ashamed of their nakedness and covered themselves......because they knew they had broken God's warning and commandment not to eat the fruit of the tree that they weren't supposed to eat of! And they didn't want to be in trouble with their LORD God, so they blamed it on others....like little children.....for they were innocent before doing wrong and Children of God!

May God Bless! Amen! Ma Betty
