...to refresh you all;I hit a deer with my truck Thanksgiving '08;and among other damages;I had to have my F-bumper replaced-NATURALLY they replaced it with an aftermarket one-WHICH would be OK,except for the fact it started rusting less than a year later.SO:I called my insurance co.2-3 months ago,and complained about the corrosion-he looked at it,and said YEP-YOU WILL GET A NEW ONE!!!So,I went thru the dealer that does all my maintenance,they ordered it and and threw it on,AND undercoated it -and now Im quoting-"SO I WONT HAVE TO WORRY ABOUT THIS BUMPER RUSTING"......WELL-Today I stopped to wash my truck,and looked at the front bumper-the one just replaced less than 3 months ago,AND UNDERCOATED- And discovered this one is rusting WORSE than the LAST one-In fact;its coming right thru the front face of it....:veryangry:..Actually;Im not that mad about it;I called the dealer and just told them "remember that front bumper you replaced on my truck 2-3 months ago??-The one you undercoated to prevent it from rusting??" The guy couldnt believe it when I told him this ones WORSE than the last one....SO I got to take it in tomorrow;he told me they WILL take care of it.I think Im going to gently
hint to them that this is getting old;and I think the only way to rectify this situation is to just put an OEM bumper on it,and be done with it.After all;this will be the FOURTH TIME this bumper has been replaced in 14 months,and thats just stupid..........
